Minnesota RB Shannon Brooks won’t be charged after alleged assault

MINNEAPOLIS — The Minneapolis city attorney has declined to file charges against Minnesota running back Shannon Brooks after an alleged assault.

Brooks was arrested after an Oct. 14 incident in which his male roommate accused him of assault. No injuries were reported.
